Many law firms that represent corporations or other business professionals are often in need of litigation counsel to assist their clients. Very often, it is not cost-effective to employ a full-time litigation attorney. Yet, attorneys want to ensure that their clients receive proper representation in the courtroom. Barry accepts referrals from firms that are looking for litigation counsel to represent their clients. Keeping in mind that he is new to the established relationship with the referring attorney and the client, Barry works closely with the referring firm, making sure that it is kept current on all matters and engages the firm in decision-making, when appropriate, so that the client’s interests are protected. Barry accepts referrals, but also works as co-counsel with attorneys and firms who wish to be more involved in the litigation process.
